Jody Wiggins
In the 1940s and 50s, the hills of the peninsula were filled with orchards and Grapevine. Every spring workers would come to pick the grapes, fruits and flowers. This process occurred year after year the war took away all the Japanese families from doing their work along the hills of the peninsula the cars of the 40s and 50s were all made out of metal no plastic. I painted the orchards of the peninsula to represent the Palos Verdes area along Palos Verdes Dr. south.
